Enhanced Shareholder Search

Now it’s easier than ever to find shareholder and certificate information in StockTrack.  The new search facility, available throughout StockTrack, allows you to search not only by name, but also by address, phone number or social security number (Federal ID).

You can select to search starting at the beginning of the certificate names, address, etc. or you can select a 'contains' search and find all of the shareholders with the search information anywhere in the name, address, phone number, etc.

For instance, if you have a phone number but can’t read the name, you can search by phone number.  If you have 50 shareholders named Smith but only one who lives in Morris Plains, NJ, you can search for Address ‘contains’ Morris Plains.

Besides the Holder ID, reference name and certificate name, the search results now include the address, phone number, and Federal ID.  (You could also use the search screen as a quick way to see a phone number list for all shareholders in a specified area code or an address list for all shareholders in a specified city or state.)

The new search screen should make it easier than ever to track your shareholder information in StockTrack.

StockTrack Webinar

Our first StockTrack webinar was a success!  We had a great turnout of both current and prospective StockTrack users. 

This free webinar, titled Introduction to StockTrack, lasted just about an hour and was presented by Abby Rosenstein and Bill Papanestor.  The presentation was geared toward new and potential users of StockTrack and covered such topics as entering shareholder and certificate information, transfers, dividends, reporting, and more.  Abby went through the Guided Tour and attendees were able to see a live demonstration of StockTrack functions and features. 

While you can store a nearly endless amount of information about stockholders in the StockTrack system, only a small amount of information is required.  This contributes to the ease of use that StockTrack users rave about.

Reporting

Q: Can I easily get to my data?

A: There are many built in reports in StockTrack.  In addition, StockTrack has a function to produce an export file that summarizes active shareholding by stock class or shareholder, making one flat file from several related files and conditions.  All the raw data in StockTrack is in a DBF file format which is a commonly used interchange format and can be read by many report writers, spreadsheets, and word processors.
